Great fun- for a short time.....save your money : Sky Dancers Light Up Doll - Alexis on Pegasus

My daughter begged for this for Christmas- after about 15 tries- the string would no longer pull. We assumed she had been rough on the toy and wrote it off, so when she wanted to buy another one with her own money- we gave her the talk about being careful with the string, pulling carefully, etc. etc.- same thing with the new one- after about 15 pulls the string pulled out and would not rewind. It is a lot of fun- but if you buy this toy- know it is essentially a prettier version of those bamboo planes boys fly 10 times and then they break.

The description has the plushie measured at 4", but he is much closer to 6". (Even better!!!)

It is extremely detailed and well crafted. The fabric is like a micro-suede, very soft. The eyes are embroidered on, and the claws and "antennae" are some sort of sturdy felt-type material. He is perfectly stuffed and stitched, and worth every penny. Also, the bottom of the plushie has some beans in it to keep him weighted and sitting down.

Beautiful Blonde : Mattel Barbie Top Model Doll

I saw the commercial for this doll on youtube last November, and I just had to add her to my collection. She is displayed on my bookshelf with my other dolls that are removed from their boxes. I dressed her in her second outfit last month, and took pictures, and changed her back into her original outfit. During Christmas, she wore a red holiday dress I made, and she looked good in that too. Every now-and-then, I brush her hair, but other than that, I don't do much with her. She'd be a great addition to any Barbie collection :)
